What does a migraine look like? - migraine art!

One of the problems with chronic migraines is there very few physical symptoms to see, and the experience can be hard to put into words.

I found 4,363 photos about "headache" on flickr.com, and some of them definitely represent life in the HeadZone!


Here are a few of my favorites:

First up is Gabriel Angels "crowbar". This is a scary picture, although I sometimes wish my head would look like this during a migraine so that people would realise that there really is something serious going on here.

Secondly, this one from Ende.. he really captures the colours that go whirling through my head when a splitting headache arrives

This one is just, well, freaky.
